CyberSource added support for a new gateway to Global Payments, Inc.'s East processing platform, which CyberSource refers to as GPN. In addition to supporting standard credit card features, this gateway supports retail transactions and Level III transactions. For information about the features that are supported for this gateway, see the Credit Card Services Implementation Guide.
The FDMS Nashville gateway was updated to support forced captures, the Verified by Visa CAVV response code, and the MasterCard merchant advice code for recurring payments. For information about these features, see the Credit Card Services Implementation Guide.
CyberSource updated the Barclays gateway to support the Maestro (International) card type. If you support Maestro (UK Domestic) and Solo, you must also support Maestro (International) and you must support MasterCard SecureCode for all three card types. For information about the Barclays gateway, see the Credit Card Services Implementation Guide.
If the information is available, the country code associated with the BIN of the card used for payment can be returned in the transaction reply.
The definition of the MM-IPBST information code (customer's IP address not consistent with the state in the billing address) now states that the code may not be returned when the inconsistency is between neighboring states.
For Advanced Edition users only: CyberSource added 20 custom fields that you can use for additional non-secure customer or order information. These fields are returned in the reply.
