Server Release Notes for August 27, 2003

Credit Card Services

If you use Barclays or Streamline as your processor, you can now use the Address Verification Service (AVS) and Card Verification (CV) with Switch and Solo cards.

If you use Barclays as your processor, you can now send Verified by Visa Payer Authentication data in your authorization requests for Visa cards.

If you use Citibank Global, FDMS South, or Vital as your processor, you can now use Card Verification (CV) with Discover cards. Discover calls the card verification number the CID (Cardmember Identifier).

Global Payment Service

You can now use the new CyberSource Global Payment Service to accept bank transfers and direct debits, two payment types commonly used outside of the United States. Risk

The Delivery Address Verification (DAV) service API has some minor changes listed below. For more information, see the Verification Services Implementation Guide, available on the Support Center in the Services Documentation area.

The following new SCMP API reply fields were added:

  • dav_intl_info
  • dav_us_error_info
  • dav_ca_error_info
  • dav_intl_error_info

The following SCMP API reply fields now return different values:

  • dav_country_info
  • dav_postal_code_info
  • dav_lvr_info

The following SCMP API reply fields have been deprecated:

  • dav_apartment_info
  • dav_city_info
  • dav_directional_info
  • dav_overall_info
  • dav_state_info
  • dav_street_info
  • dav_suffix_info
  • dav_zip_info

Web Services APIs

CyberSource has released version 1.1 of the Web Services APIs. With this version we have added new functionality, removed several fields, and renamed some fields. See the Web Services APIs Release Notes Version 1.1 for complete details. The Release Notes are available on the Support Center in the Services Documentation area.

Reporting

Added three new fields to the CSV version of the Payment Transaction Detail Report: payment_processor, source, and subscription_id. See the Reporting Developer's Guide for more information about the report and the fields. The guide is available on the Support Center in the Services Documentation area.

Added two new attributes to the <request> element in the XML version of the Payment Transaction Detail Report: subscriptionID and source. See the Reporting Developer's Guide for more information.

Added a new report: the Payment Submission Detail Report. See the Reporting Developer's Guide for more information about the report.
