Server Release Notes for June 25, 2003

Credit Card Services

You can now use CyberSource to connect directly to American Express using the new payment processor gateway to American Express Phoenix.

If you use Citibank Global, FDC South, or Vital as your payment processor, you can now use the card verification (CV) feature with Discover cards.

For more information about the above features, see the Credit Card Services Implementation Guide, available on the Support Center in the Services Documentation area.

Electronic Check Services

If you use the SCMP API and CheckFree as your electronic check payment processor, you will now receive a DINVALIDDATA reply flag when testing CheckFree requests with amount=5001.

For more information about testing CheckFree electronic check requests, see the Electronic Services Implementation Guide, available on the Support Center in the Services Documentation area.

Tax

If you are using the SCMP API and have VAT transactions with multiple offers in the order, you can now specify a different VAT seller registration value for each offer using the new offer-level field seller_registration. The field was added to accommodate tax law changes for the European Union.

For more details about the field, see the Tax Calculation Implementation Guide, available on the Support Center in the Services Documentation area.

Advanced Fraud Screen

Added a new Advanced Fraud Screen Internet Information Code, INV-EM, indicating that the customer's email address is invalid. If the email address is invalid, the Advanced Fraud Screen request will no longer fail for invalid data.

For more information about Advanced Fraud Screen Information Codes, see the Advanced Fraud Screen Implementation Guide, available on the Support Center in the Services Documentation area.

Geolocation

You may no longer request the ics_ipgeo service.
