Francisco da Rocha Campos joined Visa in October 2014 as Head of Merchants & Acquirers for Latin America and the Caribbean.

 

Xiko, as he likes to be called, leads Visa’s business with merchants and acquirers in the region. This emcompasses growing and modernizing the commerce and payments infraestucture, partnering with key players, and developing and implementing products and solutions that provide tangible value to these partners in more than 40 countries around Latin America and the Caribbean.

 

Xiko has an extensive international (Latin America, U.S., Europe, and Asia) and multi-cultural business background with diverse general management experience in financial services, travel & entertainment, and technology.

 

Over the last 25 years, Xiko has served as CEO and General Manager of companies such as CVC, American Express, and Citigroup, and startups such as SuperBid and SuperVertical.

 

Xiko is a member of local, regional, and global councils and executive committees. He is also a professor at Business School São Paulo, responsible for Strategy and Negotiation chairs for its MBA and Executive Programs.

 

He is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French. Xiko has an MBA from INSEAD, a Master’s in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and is a Production Engineer from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo.
