Karisty Welsh is the senior director of Visa’s Acceptance Solutions North America Partner channel. Currently her focus is on developing and leading a team of enterprise sales account managers for technology partners and merchant service providers. Karisty has 20 years of experience in the payment industry. With roles focusing on direct merchant sales, partner channel business development across ISVs, ISOs, acquirers, and processors she has built focused experience around digital payment acceptance, partner program strategy, and complex strategic partnerships.
She is passionate about bringing differentiated solutions for digital payment acceptance to businesses large and small. Karisty delights in seeing the evolution of the payments and technology ecosystem. Empowering teams to uplift clients by enabling acceptance solutions that optimize the payment experience up and down the value chain continues to be a highlight of directing the channel’s engagement initiatives.
Karisty has a Bachelor of Science from Utah Valley University in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology. She resides in Utah with her husband and two young daughters. When there is free time, you can find her at their music recitals or softball games. She also enjoys cooking, hiking, and boating anytime she gets the chance.
